WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT ASDECS?

ASDECS is a place of learning where we are trying to integrate these four major areas: CULTURE, THEOLOGY & SPIRITUALITY, MISSIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

ASDECS IS ALSO

  • committed to experience-based, participatory learning.
  • concerned about theory-building in the areas of transformational development, leadership development, social entrepreneurship and holistic mission
  • designed to be mobile and flexible which can be tailored to the needs, schedule, and preferred venue of the participants.

WE WOULD LIKE THIS TRAINING PROGRAM TO SERVE AS

  • a HUB A meeting place where people come together and listen to each other, ask questions and bounce ideas around.
  • a FORUM where the teaching pattern accommodates Asian students' ways of thinking and learning with great emphasis on personal mentoring.
  • a LEARNING SPACE that is culturally sensitive, grasping every opportunity to learn formally and informally, in and our of a classroom setting, seeing difficulties as teaching and learning moment.
