A holistic approach to community transformation must seek to integrate the various dimensions of development(social, economic, political, environmental as well as spiritual) to achieve a renewed vision and action for the well-being and redemption of people and communities.

Description
This is a strategic course for managers and leaders of various organizations that heighten the understanding and appreciation of their work using Transformational Leadership framework. The certificate program reviews and provides sufficient working knowledge on project development & management (PDM) as well as resource development and partnership building (RDPB. It introduces Appreciative Inquiry (AI) as an effective tool for organizational assessment; enhances their people skills for effective teamwork; and celebrates the connectedness of their work to their personal life, family and spirituality.

MODULE
The Certificate in Transformational Leadership is comprised of six modules with each module having four days of dynamic and engaging sessions. The following are the modules with their brief overview:
1.Foundation of Transformational Leadership
Module summary: This module provides a foundational framework for all managers and leaders who desire to be transformational. Focus will be on the Biblical basis of Transformation Leadership framework and basic Organizational Development principles.
Module objective: By the end of the module, the participants would have articulated their understanding and appreciation of the Transformational Leadership Framework, as well as given examples on how to integrate basic Organizational Development principles in their context.

2.Appreciative Inquiry
Module summary: The module provides participants with the basic understanding of an organization using Appreciative Inquiry – a strategic tool in organizational assessment.

3.Project Development and Management
Module summary: Focus of this module is on the fundamentals of project design, development and management for effective project implementation. Results-based Management (RBM) approach to project designing will be its core content. Participants will be given time to design an actual project and present them to the class.
Module objective: By the end of the module, the participants (i.e., in pairs) would have designed a project to implement in their respective workplace.

4. Resource Development and Partnership Building

Module Objective: By the end of the module, the participants develop a plan to raise resources (materials and funds), and identified potential partners for a specific event.

5.Inter-Personal Relations and Team Work
Module summary: The module focuses on developing capacity of managers and leaders for effective human relations, including teamwork among his immediate stakeholders.
Module Objective: By the end of the module, the participants would have committed to initiate changes in their workplace by applying key principles on effective human relations and enhancing teamwork.

6. Personal, Family and Spirituality of the Transformational Manager
Module summary: The module integrates a holistic perspective and practice in personal, family and spiritual development strategies for change and renewal among leaders and managers.
Module objective: By the end of the module, the participants would have formulated a personal strategy to integrate a holistic perspective to his spirituality, personal, family and work dimensions.

Note:
After all 6 modules have been completed, a graduation ceremony will follow. Only the students who completed the 6 modules will be eligible to graduate. A graduation fee of P2,000 will be collected which will cover the following: Sablay and Pin, TOR, Certificate, and SWEAR (Students’ Wrap-up Evaluation-Appreciation Retreat). The graduation is best scheduled the day after the last module. The SWEAR will be from 9am to 3pm and the graduation ceremony at 5pm.
After all 6 modules have been completed, a graduation ceremony will follow. Only the students who completed the 6 modules will be eligible to graduate. A. Host
- Participant selection – up to 30 participants with each participant having at least a college degree or its equivalent, and fluent in both English and tagalog.
- Snacks for 4 days
- Travel cost, Food and Accommodation for one faculty and a training assistant for 5 days
- Total Training fee – P40,000
