DR. DAVID S. LIM
is the Executive Director of China Ministries International-Philippines, that recruits Filipino missionaries for China. He serves as a key member of the Facilitation Team that seeks to mobilize and train 200,000 Filipino missionaries to reach the unreached peoples of the world. He had previously served as Academic Dean at Asian Theological Seminary(Philippines) and Oxford Centre for Mission Studies(U.K.), and now serves as President of two schools: Asian School for Development and Cross-Cultural Studies (ASDECS) and Asian Center for English Studies(ACES). ZALDY BAROTIL
is currently the Executive Director of the Asian School of Development & Cross-Cultural Studies(ASDECS), and President of Cavite-based Ethnos International Development Center(Ethnos Center). he has been a hands-on development manager and practitioner for the past 20 years thru his leadership and management of various development organizations and programs in the Philippines, Central Asia, and indochina. He has designed and manged the implementation of various holistic community development programs including microfinance, community health, cooperative development, sustainable agriculture, crisis center for women & children, local governance, etc. He is a graduate of Master of Management in Development from UPLB and is currently working on his dissertation research for his PhD in Development Studies from DLSU Manila. He is happily married to Dr. Celine Estrella-Barotil with whom he has 5 Kids. |
BOYET ONGKIKO
is the Director of the Center for Transformational Development(CTD) of the Asian School for Development and Cross Cultural Studies (ASDECS). He served as National Coordinator of iHELP Tawid Pinoy Program of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches(PCEC) as part of his advocacy on Engaging Society in 2012 to 2013. With his background in Development Communication and Development Management from UPLB, he serves as Organizational Development Strategic Communication and Training consultant to various faith-based groups, NGO's, LGUs, Government Agencies and private companies. Boyet is a member of the advisory board of the Passionate Community for Chirst inc.(PCCI); and Consultant-adviser of the Coalition of Leprosy Advocates of the Philippines (CLAP). DAVID LIBAN
Call him Dabs. He likes to think of himself as an "accidental fundraiser", having had no formal training background. He's currently connected with Habitat for Humanity as the Disaster Response and Rebuild Head. Before that he was the Senior Marketing Manager of World Vision Philippines responsible for all of the organization's major individual and corporate donors including looking after the spiritual development of celebrity donors such as Karen Davila, Miriam Quiambao, Crystal Belo, Derek Ramsay, Sam Milby and, Kris Aquino to name a few. Dbas has been with WVP for 25 years, the first eleven of which were spent doing fieldwork assigned in the mountainous and fishing villages of Abra, Capiz, Siargao and the Southern Tip of Cebu. Dabs is all about storytelling as he draws from his wide experience in resource mobilization and partnership building for Community Transformation. |
MARIA LUZ RONCESVALLES
She does training consultancy work for different organizations in the fields of participatory action research and learning strategic planning, organizational development and inter-cultural communication. She finished her Masters Degree in International and Inter Cultural Management at the School for international Training in Vermont, USA last 2000. She's part of the faculty team of ASDECS and has taught courses like Transformational Development, Inter-Cultural Communication and Culture and Development courses in manila, Phnom Penh and Vientiane. She was the Director of the Center for Transformation Development, the non-formal training arm of ASDECS since 2009 until 2011 when she resigned to move up to Baguio to volunteer manage a Bed and Beakfast cum Retreat Center Ministry called the HUB Retreat Place. She has returned to ASDECS this October, 2016 as International Programs Director for Southeast Asia and China. |
DR. EMMANUEL M. LUNA
is a professor of Community Development at the U.P. College of Social Work and Community Developmentin Diliman, Quezon City. He finished his Ph D. in Urban and Regional Development for U.P. in 2000. He was a former United Nations Fellow at the United Nations Center for Regional Development in Japan and is presently a member of the Board of Regents of the Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, USA. Specializing in Disaster Risk Management, Dr. Luna is involved in researches, training, volunteer and consultancy services with the non government organizations, communities, government agencies and international humanitarian organizations. He is a recipient of the U.P. International Publication Awards in 2001 and 2007 and was one of the 100 Awardees of the U.P. Centennial Professional Chair in 2008. |
HERMAN MOLDEZ
finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Accounting at the Philippine School of Business Administration in 1974 and Master of Divinity at Asian Theological Seminary in 1994. He has served the Christian community is the Philippines in a myriad of was as Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Quezon City and in full-time university work with Intervarsity and as National Director of spiritual leaders and mentors for the Filipino church. In March 2002 he joined MentorLink, a leadership ministry and Pastoral Care for Pastors under the Pastoral Care Commission-Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches. He has served as chairman and National Coordinator MentorLink giving strategic leadership and spiritual to its development. |
